Experts of specialized research institute in Moscow started to test the latest warning system in Krymsk on August 7.
State Quality Control Program will ensure stability of the system installed right after severe flooding in 2012. If the system passes the tests successfully, similar “KSEON” systems will be introduced throughout the country.
The system in Krymsk is based on the technology of special water level sensors, which trigger warning devices of emergency alert and voice emergency recordings, explains Valentin Tsitser, head of the municipal public institution “Center of Emergency Situations Management and Civil Protection of Krymsk Region”. Currently, preventative testing of warning devices is conducted once every three months.
