Orenburg Roads Can Be Monitored Online

Twelve CCTV cameras installed along the roads of the Orenburg region will broadcast online. 

Information web-portal "Infodor" has been launched this morning. Its creation is aimed at improving road safety through promoting weather and traffic conditions awareness among drivers and passengers. 

Cameras will transfer information concerning ambient temperature, wind direction and speed, and visibility on the road. Currently, the work on creation of an interactive map for systematization of displayed video information is underway. The work should be completed by November 1, at the same time when weather stations are connected to the system.

In order to access video feed from CCTV cameras, user can visit www.orendor.ru website and go to "Video Surveillance System" section or go directly to "Infodor" website.

At the moment, there are 8 working cameras out of 12. Cameras № 5, 7, 8 and 10 remain under maintenance.
