Electric Transport in Crimea Will be Equipped with GLONASS Tracking Devices

Crimean trolleybuses will be connected to GLONASS system. "Krymtrolleybus" enterprise will install special sensors that provide connection to the domestic navigation system. According to Anatoly Tsurkin, Head of the Ministry of Transport of the Crimean Republic, such measures will eliminate a number of shortcomings of public transport and will not disrupt traffic intervals.

"Krymtrolleybus" has already implemented a test version of automated dispatch control system, which is based on GLONASS technology. It is reported that the necessary funds will be provided by the budget.

Currently, the region is in search of company, which will provide maintenance services for trolley bus routes.
