World Cup 2018 Will Have "Discreet" Security Measures

Effective security measures must be introduced In the course of World Cup 2018, these measures, however, must be discreet so that participants and visitors of the event did not experience any discomfort. President Valdimir Putin made a corresponding announcement during the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Organizing Committee "Russia-2018".

All relevant services and agencies must demonstrate effective teamwork. The responsibility for the organization of security measures will be personal, since the task poses critical importance, moreover, safety is one of the eleven guarantees Russia has promised as the host country of the championship, said Vladimir Putin.

World Cup 2018 will be held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod and Yekaterinburg.
