"Zenit-Arena" May Lose Its New Entrance

Federal Anti-Monopoly Service has identified irregularities in the tender procedure for the construction of "Zenit-Arena" stadium entrance, reports the official FAS website. The service released a corresponding corrective regulation for the tender documentation.

According to the service authorities, the current state of tender documentation makes it impossible to establish the precise amount of work and its total cost. In addition, the criterion of "procurement participants’ qualification" does not help in determining the best offer. 

A complaint to FAS came from LLC "St. Petersburg Pipework Company". According to the tender, a contractor is required to build an entrance checkpoint, several access control pavilions, an open split-level car park, conduct works on site landscaping, install guard fences, benches and litter-boxes, all before December 16, 2016.  The sports facility must be ready by May 1, 2016.
