Set of Transportation Security Requirements for Physical Persons Is Officially Approved

Dmitry Medvedev signed a resolution, which prescribes safety requirements for individuals either present on transport infrastructure facilities or using different types of transport. The text of the document was published on November 20 on the official website of the government.

The resolution sets the boundaries of permissible behavior for passengers, sets corresponding duties and prohibitions. According to the document, citizens must inform transport security personnel about all kinds of suspicious situations, follow security officers’ instructions and do not interfere with their work.

A separate paragraph is dedicated to the rules of object carrying: passengers are not allowed to transport prohibited items, take other people's possessions for transportation as an intermediary, give documents to third parties for inspection passing, simulate terrorist attacks and preparation, and use pyrotechnics.
