Schools to preserve CCTV cameras after Unified State Examination

CCTV cameras, monitoring the procedure of the Unified State Examination, are to remain at educational institutions. This statement was made by Mr Sergey Shatunov, assistant of the Head of the Federal Education and Science Supervision Service (Rosobrnadzor). 

According to Mr Shatunov, video surveillance systems will be used during the academic process at school and at the forthcoming examinations. 

The peculiarity of video monitoring at the Unified State Examination this year is that is has been carried out in the course of two months. The recorded video materials will be kept in the course of three months. At the moment about six thousand people have been registered as online observers. 

Video monitoring has already proved to be useful. Works of 74 school students, who violated the rules of the Unified State Examination, were annulled.
