Samara Underground: alert system worth 47 million RUR will be installed

The Head Office of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced an auction aimed at the development of the fire and disaster prevention system at Samara underground stations. The project price is 47 million RUR. The project funding comes from the federal budget within the framework of realization of the Complex Programme of security provision on public transportation.

The new alert and prevention system will be installed at seven stations of Samara underground by the middle of November. The stations will be equipped with surveillance and data capturing systems, as well as systems for population’s information, audio system, emergency communication, radiation and chemical control.
