"Rossetti" Will Build "Safe Cities" in the North Caucasus

Energy networks operator “Rosseti” signed an agreement with the company’s subsidiary division "North Caucasus Interregional Distribution Company" for the implementation of pilot projects on creation of "Safe City" systems in the region.
The projects will be implemented on the territory of three cities of the North Caucasian republics - Magas (Ingushetia), Kaspiysk (Dagestan), Gudermes (Chechen Republic).
In the near future, the partners plan to develop a unified concept of the project and create "road maps". The whole course of work will be presented in an execution schedule. There are plans for appointing funding sources as soon as possible. It is expected that primary assets will come from the national budget.
As it follows from the text of the agreement, state, municipal and private organizations will participate in the project. According to representatives from "Rossetti," this will ensure complex approach to the development of city functioning schemes.
The project involves creation of new work schemes for the electricity sector, changing of the approach to the management of residential buildings, transport and engineering infrastructure. For this purpose, the company will conduct energy audit and thorough examination of entire infrastructures of the cities participating in the project. Work teams will identify and analyze problem areas in the cities and draw up solutions to address them. According to the document, the project will be implemented with the use of energy-saving technologies, environmentally safe equipment and modern software.
