Research and Training Crisis Management Center Opened in Bauman Moscow State Technical University

On September 24, Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov launched the Research сand Training Crisis Management Center (R&T CMC) at the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman.
The center will focus on vocational training and skills development programs for specialists working in the field of forecasting, prevention and elimination of different kinds of emergencies.
The center will also function as the organizer of command-staff, complex and development research exercises, and training sessions for state government staff. The center’s hardware and software complex is integrated with the National Emergency Management Center’s hardware-software system.
Educational branch of the center incorporates students’ education and retraining of personnel in the field of "Analysis and Management of Risks", "Life Safety in the Technosphere", "Emergencies Protection Measures" and "Technosphere Safety".
As part of the opening event, the minister and rector of the university signed a cooperation agreement lasting until 2030. The agreement suggests that Bauman MSTU graduates will have priority when applying for the job in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
