Prime Minister Medvedev Gathers a Meeting to Discuss the Development of Domestic Microelectronics Industry

Prime Minister of The Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will gather a meeting to discuss the development of Russian microelectronics industry, production boosting methods, and issues concerning regulation of the Russian electronics market.
Previously, CEO of the Joint Rocket-Space Corporation Igor Komarov pointed out that due to the sanctions the country will be purchasing microelectronics and rocket-space industrial units in Asia. In particular, there are plans for purchasing an electronic component base in China for several billion dollars.
The meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister for the defense industry Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister for the real economy sector Arkady Dvorkovich, ministers Denis Manturov and Veronika Skvortsova, head of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov, presidential aide Andrei Belousov, head of the Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations Mikhail Kotyukov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, and representatives of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Communications.
