Non-Commercial Partnership "GLONASS" and Eirene Systems Private Limited (India) Will Establish a Joint Venture Company

Non-commercial partnership "GLONASS" and Indian company Eirene Systems Private Limited will establish a joint venture. During his visit to India, President Vladimir Putin signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Partners will work together on the development of geographic information and satellite navigation systems. It is expected that the companies will begin to develop, manufacture and sell solutions and technologies for this industry. All these measures will contribute to the promotion of the Russian navigation system in India.

The joint venture company will implement navigation and information systems and manufacture corresponding equipment. As part of the partnership, GLONASS will deploy a platform of various navigation services based on the system. The company prioritizes development of the "Safe Bus" project, railway traffic control, modernization of police equipment, and supply chain management. In addition, the possibility of developing a navigation receiver capable of receiving signals from both domestic GLONASS and Indian IRNSS systems is also considered.
