New Crisis Management Centre of The Ministry of Emergency Situations Will be Built in Chuvash Republic in 2015

Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov and the head of Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatiev discussed the prospects of upgrading The Ministry of Emergency Situations with new technical equipment manufactured in Russia.

According to Puchkov, a new Crisis Management Centre (CMC), which will have all the latest technical developments of the republic, will be put into operation in the region next year. 

Additionally, the federal minister and the head of the republic discussed the possibility of fire suppression equipment production in the region. 

"In accordance with the Presidential Decree, The Ministry of Emergency Situations of The Russian Federation is implementing a re-equipment program for its units; we need the latest domestic technical developments and enterprises in Chuvash Republic show very high potential”, - said Vladimir Puchkov. 

Mikhail Ignatiev, in turn, said that enterprises of the region are willing to participate in the program.
