Innovative Solutions developed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations Presented in Noginsk
On October 15 and 16, Noginsk Rescue Center will be hosting the "Day of advanced technologies in the system of the Ministry of Emergency Situations".
The event is aimed at promoting innovative firefighting and rescue technology, hardware, research of modern methods of suppression of natural and man-made fires and advanced technology of flooding protection.
Eight exhibition areas host more than 50 new models of firefighting and rescue technical equipment. Noginsk Recue Center polygon also serves as a site for equipment tests and large-scale training maneuvers.
After the Winter Olympics in Sochi, the ministry focused on the security of major sports events. During the Innovations Day, representatives of the ministry presented the first specialized flare extinguisher, which was developed in preparation for World Cup 2018.
Alexander Chupriyan, deputy head of the ministry, spoke on what was never shown before the Innovations Day. “We already have plans for using drones in the mines – we will be sending robots instead of people to dangerous areas.”
"I'd like to see the Innovations Day never end. Figuratively speaking, it should last forever regardless of the budget – we must continue develop new technology. Our main task is to keep going, and we will. There are no indifferent people in the Ministry of Emergency Situations" - summed up Chupriyan.Источник: materials provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations
