Children’s Playgrounds of Moscow Will Have Panic Buttons and Video Surveillance Cameras

Moscow administration is considering installing panic buttons on playgrounds of Moscow. The initiative comes from the head of "Arbat" municipal district Eugene Babenko. The initiative concerns the facilities currently in the process of construction.
It is assumed that the signal from the panic button will be sent to the central dispatch center of Moscow. After receiving the call, police will arrive on the scene within several minutes.
In addition to cameras installed in Moscow residential areas, Babenko offers to install surveillance cameras on playgrounds territories. According to the official, video from the cameras will be streamed in real time, thus allowing parents to look after their children.
